Bloomingdale’s British Invasion - Part 1
Earlier this week I had a chance to preview Bloomingdale’s exclusive “Brit Style” Fall collection. I was honored to have Mr. Josh Peskowitz give me the rundown for this collection; as an homage to all things British, Bloomingdales is launching a unique celebration that’s all about “Brit Style” in the past, present, and future.
The exclusive styles and capsule collections are from over 40 designers including Bespoken, Burberry, Church’s, Casley Hayford, Crombie, D.S.DUNDEE, Farrell, Flying Horse, Hentsch Man, Kent & Curwen, Liberty London, lot78, maharishi, Marwood, Matchless, McQ by Alexander McQueen, North Sea London, Oliver Spencer, Paul Smith, Smart Turnout London, Smyth & Gibson, Wolsey, and more.

Sometimes I like to look through my #wiwt pictures- not because I love myself so much- to see how my ‘style’ or taste has progressed/evolved over time. I think I’ve come to the conclusion that as soon as I got these Levi’s 511s, I started dressing down a lot more.
There are days though however, I really do have the urge to suit up, or atleast clean it up a bit and throw on a sportcoat. And my heart still trembles at the sight of a great blazer and brogues, but… I think for the most part, I do well dressing it down. I look far more comfortable, and I feel far more comfortable. I don’t stick out as much at the kind of places I go to on the regular too. But given the chance to suit up, I am like a teenage girl before prom. Absolutely love the look and feel of my Ludlow sportcoats.
